John S. Borota, 63, passed away July 4th, 2019 in Taylor, Michigan.

Beloved husband of 40 blissful years to Ana Borota.
Proud father of Brandon Borota and Jake (Christina) Borota.
Loving grandfather to Ethan.
Cherished brother of Liviu (Mary), Lidia (Doru) Andronic, Cornelia (Costel) Magdici, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Treasured brother in law of Marta (Benone) Melinte, and Maria (Liviu) Maghear, and uncle in law of Jessica, Alice, Josh, Liviu, Gina, and Diana.
Dear son of Iulia and the late Vasile.

John lived a fascinating life. He had a penchant for playing the accordion and enjoyed taking vacations, especially going on cruises. He started his own business installing granite tile, countertops, and more. He was extraordinary in his designs. John was truly an artist in his craft. Anyone with the honor of knowing him will remember his intelligence and his sense of humor. John was a hard working and kind man who will be missed greatly.

On Friday, July 12, a visitation will be from 6-7PM with a priveghi from 7-9PM. Funeral Saturday, July 13 at 10AM. All services will be located at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph. John will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
