Brent,John D. (Jack). 10/15/2011. Age 87. Dear father of Jill Maki and the late Pamela D. Baker-Brent. Brother of Ima, Robert, Joseph Bruntmyer And the late Gene, Harold, Glenn, and Billy. Formerly married to June W. Brent and Betty Jo Brent. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired from Detroit Edison. John was an avid sportsman including golfing, flying planes and he was the Iowa State High School Pole Vault Champion. He also was a WWII Veteran.
