John Paul Deschamps. Age 66. Died suddenly February 6th, 2014 from a presumed cardiac event. Beloved father of Paul (Kim) Deschamps, grandfather of granddaughters Shilee Engebretson (age 10) and Willow Deschamps (age 15 months), and granddog Lacee Lu. Survived by his sisters Patricia (Ralph) Ascencio, Judith (Robert) Bonish, and brother Joseph Deschamps. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Lavella Deschamps. Also survived by 8 nieces and nephews Catherine (Ted) Gaunt, Monica (Sean) Donovan, John (Kim) Ascencio, Patrick (Cindy) Bonish, Tommy (Darlene) Ascencio, Joe (Nicole) Bonish, Max (Erin) Deschamps, and Sam Deschamps as well as many grand-nieces and -nephews. John worked for 30 years as a building inspector, code official, and commercial section supervisor at the City of Dearborn, building department. Visitation Wednesday, 2-7pm.
