John Edward Donley was born August 22, 1963 and carried by Gods Angel's to the eternal side of his bride on January 12, 2020. Much like his wife, John would have easily gave you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. He had a big heart and caring spirit.

John and Leslie were never blessed with human children but raised many fur babies. John and Leslie had a great love and a huge heart for dogs which led them to nurture Gizmo, Candy, Presley, Pongo, Gracelynn and most recently Bell. He leaves Gracelynn and Bell with a hole in their hearts.

John was predeceased by the love of his life, Leslie, whom he shared over 25 years with on this earth. John is survived by his parents, Billy and Dorothy Donley, his brother Billy Jr (Yvetta), and sisters Janie, Yvonne, Krista, Lena and Judy . He also leaves behind Leslie's siblings Lisa, Lori, Mark (Gina), Matthew and Linda (George). He was loving uncle to Patrick, Joshua, Jessica and Abby.

John will be laid to eternal rest next to his wife whom he missed from the day she was taken to heaven.  Funeral services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at the Dearborn chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Friday 1-8 p.m.  Interment Glen Eden Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.
