John Edward Doyle, AKA "Uncle Jack". 86 yrs. old passed away peacefully on October 27, 2024, in Taylor, Michigan.

Jack was born in 1938 to John Doyle and Bessie (West) in Detroit. He is predeceased by his life partner, Jim Belding, their dog Spot and sisters, Patricia (Jim) Ariganello and Joanne (Art) LaFontaine, and brothers, Thomas (Rita) Doyle, and Richard.

He is survived by his sister and best friend, Lillian (Bill) Brennan, and too many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews to list. He helped his family in any way possible and taught his many nieces and nephews many life lessons.

He and Jim were caretakers of his mom Bessie until she passed. His family was very proud of him for obtaining his nursing degree from Madonna College and his master's degree in nursing from Central University all while working full time as a bank auditor for the FDIC. He then started his second career as a hospital auditor for BC/BS, and absolutely loved the work he did.

When he retired, Jack and Jim moved to Nashville, Michigan farm country. They loved their little farmhouse and their one-eyed cat Pirate who adopted them when they moved there. After Jim passed, he then moved to Florida for 15 years then returned to Michigan to be with family.

Jack and Jim loved New York and traveled there yearly to enjoy the Broadway shows, opera and wonderful food. He was a foodie and loved going to his niece Diane's house to be a taste tester for Chef Diane's new creations. He enjoyed playing Tennis in his younger years. He loved working with his hands as a stained-glass designer and maker.  In his retirement he opened an on-line jewelry store called Jacks Jewels. He loved designing and selling jewelry. He was a cutthroat Euchre player and enjoyed playing the game with family and friends.

We will miss you Uncle Jack, far more than you will ever know.
