Obituary

July 26, 1966 – February 26, 2025

John Dubke, a loving family member and friend, passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 58. Born on July 26, 1966, John was a vibrant soul who lived life to the fullest and spread Joy wherever he went. He was known for his outgoing personality, making friends with ease, and leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Marlin Dubke, and his Brother, Eric Dubke. He is survived by his beloved Sister, Michelle Voineag (Robert Ruokolainen). John was a Loving Uncle to Erica Dubke (Jake Chamberlain), Jacob Duncil (Alyicia Duncil), Jesse Duncil, Jeff Duncil (Theresa Duncil) and Jenna Ruokolainen (Jordan Monroe). Great Uncle to J.J., Leo and Aurora; and Brother-in-Law to Julie Dubke.

Through John's special bond with Michelle and Eric, John was able to enjoy his passion for the outdoors, bowling, fishing, hunting in the Upper Peninsula, and camping. He also loved to travel and was known for his enthusiasm for taking photos with everyone he met, capturing moments of joy and connection.

An avid fan of music, John had a special fondness for 80's rock and was deeply interested in WWII history and old Western movies. He had a unique collection of t-shirts and Hot Wheels. John's love for the holiday season, especially Christmas and his birthday, never faded, and he always looked forward to celebrating with family and friends.

John's warmth, laughter, and determined spirit will be missed by all who knew him. His love for his family and friends was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will continue to live on through the memories he created and the joy he brought to those around him.

Rest in peace, John. You will always be remembered and loved.
