John Mark Hubacher, 74, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Taylor, MI., surrounded by his family. Born on September 8, 1950, John grew up attending St. Suzanne's and St. Cecilia schools in Detroit, Ml before earning a degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. He retired on his 69th birthday.

John's cheerfulness, good-natured personality, constant smile, whistling, and nurturing spirit made him a beloved figure among all who knew him. He was a devoted family man, always ready to lend a helping hand and cherished his role as "girl dad", Papa, and devoted husband.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Beverley; daughters Heather Stevenson (Mark) and Holly Tenore (Phil); grandchildren Jack, Ella, and Greyson; sisters Judy Bergeski (Rob), Jackie Gadzinski'(Dave), and Janet Hubacher; brother-in-law Bruce MacBride (Margaret); along with three nephews, a niece, and numerous lifelong friends and neighbors.

John's hobbies included tending to his lush, green lawn, gardening, White Mountain 1,000 piece puzzles, and always looked forward to the annual "themed" family gatherings in Alpena, Ml. each summer. He enjoyed day trips with Bev to Shipshewana and various places in Ml, learning card games with Bruce and Maggie, family dinners hosted by his sister Judy, and catching up over lunch with his lifelong friend Joe. His love for his family and friends was evident in the joy and dedication with which he planned and participated in these activities.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in John's memory. John's life was a testament to his loving nature and the deep bonds he fostered throughout his life. His legacy of warmth and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
