With sorrow we announce the death of John William LaBenne, born September 26, 1969 to James and June LaBenne.  John was 51 years old, their only son, and a beloved caregiver to his recently deceased mother.  He passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 when his body resigned from septic infection.  He was well cared for by doctors and staff at Beaumont Wayne Hospital.

John graduated at St. Thomas Senior High in Southgate, class of 1987.  He was a Boy Scout and would Deer hunt in his youth.  John was a lifetime resident of the city of Romulus and Renaissance Festival fan.

He had a career in computer sciences and repair, recently working as computer tech at the VA hospital in Ann Arbor.  He became an avid gamer, currently a Warhammer Chapter member, and his Wizardness will be missed.

John was the beloved son of James LaBenne, brother of Julie LaBenne, and uncle of Elayna LaBenne.

Memorial Mass at St. Sebastian Catholic Church,  3965 Merrick  Dearborn Hts. MI 48125, on February 23 ^rd at 10:00am.
