John Lee sadly passed away December 14, 2021 at the age of 73 after a battle with cancer. Beloved father of Wendi, John, Jennifer, David (Kim), and Jason (Christina). Loving grandfather to many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cherished brother of Judy Hager. John is also survived by Debby and Patricia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elizabeth; his siblings, Bill, Liz, and Ruth; and his great grandchildren, Presley, and Finn.

John is part of the United States Marine Corps and he was always very proud of that, he also served in Vietnam. John was a dedicated father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was all about family and would do anything for anyone. One of his favorite pastimes was to sit on his porch and feed peanuts to the squirrels, some even ate the peanuts right out of his hands. John will be missed by his entire family. He is finally reunited with his two dogs, Prince and Cora in heaven.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00-8:00PM located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. No formal services will be held at this time. John will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
