MANIKAS, John Age 88 Passed away in Dearborn on May 19, 2016. Loving husband of Carol for 64 years. Beloved father of Dean (Susan) and Nick (Kim). Awesome grandfather of Corbin, Micah, Nathan, Chloe, Chase, Hunter, and Pierson. Dearest brother of Helen, Steve, and Tommie.

John was raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He and Carol moved to Willow Run; raised their children in Riverview and Trenton. He retired to Ann Arbor to be near his second love- The University of Michigan. He was a proud and avid U of M sports fan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his honor to the Michigan Parkinson's Association.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
