John Mascarello, age 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 14 ^th , after months of steadily declining health. Loving husband of Theresa for 68 years. Dear father of John (Shelley).

John was born on the 16 ^th of August, 1929, in Vandergrift PA.  As a young adult, he moved to Dearborn MI, to get a job at Ford Motor Company.  This is when he met the girl of his dreams, Theresa.  They were married shortly thereafter.  His family life and career were put on hold while he was called to serve his country in the Army Infantry.  Soon after his return, they built their "Forever" home.  He became a proud father, a few years later, with the birth of their son, John.

John had a nearly 40 year career at Ford as a crane operator.  While there, he enjoyed playing in the company's softball league and becoming a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.  Here, he and Theresa spent many nights laughing and sharing time with friends, and also relished in the competition and comradery of their bowing league

After his retirement, he enjoyed 33 years of spending time making memories with his family, friends and neighbors.

John will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
