John was in the Airforce for 4 years in the 70's based in Oscoda. He was born and raised in Bay City, MI and loved his home town. John loved hunting, fishing, guns and animals with as passion and had extensive knowledge of all of them. Leatherworking was a hobby he started a few years ago, he made coasters, purses, wallets, belts, bags, gun holsters and many other leather goods for his family and friends. John was survived by his children, Carol Jo Lawernce (Pasant), R.J. Pasant, Nicole Lynne Bazzi (Pasant) and Jason John Pasant, 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, brothers Paul Pasant and Ed Pasant. Predeceased by his wife Henrietta May Pasant, sister Mary Schwab (Pasant) and his parents Edlore and Elaine Pasant. Arrangements for private family cremation entrusted to the Dearborn location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
