John Girard Phillips, age 95, passed away July 15, 2023.

Beloved husband of Maureen.
Proud father of John (Cathy), Girard (Wendy), Paula (Gary), David and the late Michael, Kevin, Andrew, and Thomas.
Caring grandfather of 10, great-grandfather of 7, and great-great-grandfather of 1.
Dear uncle to many. Preceded in death by his 5 siblings.

John was a proud WWII Marine veteran. He was devoted to serving his family, friends, and his community through his dedicated work at St. Constance. John was a kind and wonderful man. He will always be loved and missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19 from 2-8PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Instate 10AM until time of funeral Mass at 11AM at St. Constance Church, 21555 Kinyon St, Taylor, MI 48180. Entombment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
