John M. Pochini passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 59. Beloved father of Ashley Pochini, and Michael Pochini. Loving brother of Cindy (George) Isaac, Liz Pochini (Mark Freeman), and Steve (Kathy) Pochini. Cherished son of Marilyn and the late Silvan Pochini. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

John worked almost 40 years with DTE Gas Company and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Robert H. Jones Council #3078. He was a huge Detroit sports fan and was the biggest fan of U of M Football (Go Blue!). If something could be fixed, John could fix it. He was a licensed builder and built houses, bookshelves, and anything else you wanted. Even if he had no knowledge of how to do it, he was very resourceful and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his children and his family more than anything. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, 1:00-9:00PM located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 3880 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146 and the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in-state 9:30AM, and Mass will begin at 10:00AM located at St. Pius X Catholic Church 14101 Superior St, Southgate, MI 48195. John will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown, MI.
