VELLA, John V. June 3, 2015, age 68 Retired Detroit Police Officer. Beloved father of Vincent. Dearest brother of Joseph (Ora), Marianne (Fred) Billotto and the late Robert. Loving Nannu of Vincent, Frank, John, Anthony, Kalina and Hunter. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Thursday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1050 Porter St., Detroit, MI 48226. (Instate in church at 10 am). Visitation 1-9 pm Wednesday at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Rosary Wednesday evening. Memorial donations made be made to Most Holy Trinity School. www.howepeterson.com
