John Leland Walker, Jr. of Dearborn and Indian River, Michigan passed away on May 21st, 2026. John was born December 21st, 1946 the son of John and Mary Walker. John leaves behind a loving wife, Joy Walker, a daughter, Ava, a brother, Peter (Lynn) Walker, nephews, Adam and Jack, and, and a sister-in-law, Gayle Hamlin and nephew Eugene Hamlin.

John was a great husband, dad, and friend. He was very handy and could fix anything, especially cars. He was also a fabulous BBQer and an avid boater and car enthusiast. He also carved the best pumpkins in town every Halloween. He was also a member Wertz Warriors Support Crew for many years.

Visitation will take place at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Saturday, May 30th 2:00-5:00pm. Burial will be announced at a later date.
