Weese, John T., Jr. March 26, 1952 - July 25, 2014. Age 62. Beloved husband of Judy for 30 wonderful years. Loving dad of Betty (Aaron) Holdread. Proud grandpa of Paige Price and Alaina Holdread. Survived by his brother Bill. Preceded in death by his mother Catherine Amlotte. Loyal to his family and friends, John was a strong and dedicated man. His determination, STUBBORNNESS and willingness to help others is something that will not be forgotten. He was always willing to help anyone in need, and would always do so no matter how difficult the situation. He is known for his hard work ethic and skill as a computer whiz. He loved to tinker with everything, from cars to computers to anything imaginable. If someone said it couldn't be done, he would prove them wrong every time. No matter what it was, he always gave it his best and he always strived to do better. If it wasn't perfect, the job was not complete. In March of this year he learned he had cancer. This awful disease made it impossible for him to continue to do what he loved. His jobs with us are now complete. We will miss him dearly, but he will never be forgotten. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me" With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating; hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to American Cancer Society. The family appreciates gifts in kind of food items during the Memorial gathering on Friday. (meat and cheese trays, snacks, dessert trays, etc.)
