Our sweet Joseph Patrick Hengesbaugh passed away on October 22, 2024.  Joe died a hero as he donated his organs to save others. Joe was born with Down Syndrome on February 11, 1967 to Harold and Peggy Hengesbaugh and was brought home to six loving siblings. His child-like love gave joy to everyone he encountered. He loved Motown music, whoppers, movies, camping, coney dogs, onion rings, singing, playing air guitar and pranking others. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Peggy, as well as his brother-in-law Tom. He is survived by his siblings; Beth (JB), Dan (Cathy), Kathy (Marty), Don (Mary), Mary Sue and Paul (the late Yvonne).  So many nieces and nephews also remain that loved Joe with all their heart. Joe also leaves behind his fiancé Barb, his sweetheart and her family whom he loved. May the angels greet him in Heaven. Joe's Funeral Liturgy will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,  22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124. Visitation at church Saturday from 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Angel's Place
