Entered into rest on December 1, 2019.  Age 93. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Loving mother of Garry (Linda), Bill (the late Marcy) and Jim (Pam). Dearest grandmother of Andy (Jessica), Katie, Erin, Ashley, Chad, Trevor, Ben and Alyssa and great-grandmother of Nora and Olin.

Joyce graduated from Cass Tech High School and went on to Wayne State University where she earned her bachelor's degree in both teaching and music. She taught in the Detroit Public Schools until she became a mother,however, she continued to be very active in the community. She was the president of the Dearborn Public Schools PTA, a member of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) and of course, a life long member of Cherry Hill United Presbyterian Church of Dearborn.

Joyce enjoyed playing the piano and clarinet, reading, scrabble, rug hooking and cross stitch.

She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by so many.
