Joyce Ellen Giraud, age 57, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away on July 14, 2020. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, daughters Kellie, Jessica (Ed), Britney (John), and Muriah as well as her grandchildren Brooke, Jackson, Madelyn, Adelina, and Liam. She is the dearest sister to Sue (Roger) and Tracy (Mike) and devoted friend to Julie. Joyce is preceded in death by her Father, John, Mother, Kathleen, and Brother "Chip".

Joyce retired from the Taylor School District in 2014.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to: American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), Wounded Warrior Project, or St. Jude.

Visitation will be Monday, July 20, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Taylor chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Road, Taylor, MI 48180.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery

In respect to the executive order issued by the governor, the visitation and service will be limited to
10 people in our chapel at one time. Please be patient if you are requested to wait before entering
the chapel. If you will not be in attendance please be sure to sign the guest book and leave an online
condolence to comfort the family. The Howe-Peterson staff practice social distancing, we respectfully
encourage our guests to do the same.
