Joyce Johnson passed away on December 12, 2022 at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late David, the boy across the street who she married after he returned from the Navy. Loving mother of Karen (Gary) Preston, Bill Johnson and Christine Johnson. Dear grandmother of Cody (Katie), Jessie (Corey), Alyson (Andrew) and Allen.

Joyce was a fun-loving woman who was always having a good time with her family and friends, from playing games to camping. There wasn't a game that Joyce didn't enjoy and there were many camping trips throughout Michigan. A favorite of Joyce's was Young State Park on Lake Charlevoix where they would spend time swimming, hiking and relaxing. Many fond memories were made that will always be cherished by her family.

Another activity that Joyce spent time on was crafting. She was very talented and she created lovely quilts and could knit and crochet anything. Her family was gifted many beautiful creations made by Joyce. Gardening was another passion of Joyce's. She loved the peacefulness of tending to her flowers. She also loved her cats, and would never pass up a trip to McDonalds!

She was truly a one of a kind and lived a long and wonderful life. She is now reunited with the love of her life, David. She will never be forgotten by the people whose lives she touched and will surely be missed.
