ATKINSON, Judith    Age 82 of Canton.

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Judith Atkinson on August 4th, 2023. She was surrounded with love from her three daughters at the time of passing.

Judy fought hard for her life for years with the terrible affliction of dementia. She is a true inspiration to others. She fought to not to be a burden and to have the most normal life possible. She was a simple lady who enjoyed the small things in life such as reading, bingo, and going out to dinner with her family. She had a great sense of humor and a big heart. She will be truly missed and will live on in our hearts forever.

Her suffering is finally over and she can rest peacefully, reunited with her husband, Harry, who she lost many years ago, her son Steven, and her parents, Alice and Norman.

Judith leaves behind her son, David (Valerie) Atkinson, daughters, Sandra (Jeffrey) Menard, Susan (Ronald) Bavol, and Kimberly (Darryl) Williams, and daughter-in-law, Pamela Gibson. She was the proud grandmother of David, Rachel, Allison, Jacob, Hannah (Edward), Kerstyn, Benjamin, Kelsey. Great grandmother of Rosilynn and James.

A private memorial service will be held.
