Judith Helen (Frankowiak) Kafkakis of Detroit, Michigan, born January 23, 1943 in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on January 11, 2018 at the age of 74.  Judi was the loving wife of James for 51 years.  She was the devoted mother to sons James (Beth), Stephen (Julie), Anthony (Marcia), and Nicholas (Christina).  She was the beloved Nana to Stephen, Aaron, Amelia, Gavin, Dominick, Nicholas, Christopher, Andrew, Gianna and late Angelina and Gabriella .  Loving sister to Jackie and the late Joan and parents Casimere and Guardlyn Frankowiak.  Judi was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School of Dearborn, Michigan and retired from John Hancock Insurance/Unicare.  Judi was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.  Funeral service Friday 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (Military and Michigan Ave, Dearborn) Gathering at church from 10:30 a.m.  Visitation Thursday 1-8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.  Rosary Thursday 7:00 p.m.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  www.howepeterson.com
