July 14, 1946 – September 6, 2022
Judy Daniels, 76, of South Rockwood, Michigan, went home to be with her Lord, on Tuesday,September 6th, 2022, with her family by her side.
She was born on July 14, 1946, in Tazewell, Tennessee. Judy was the loving daughter of James and Louise Baltrip.
Judy graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964 and worked for over 30 years as a secretary for the Gibraltar School District, where she enjoyed the friendships of those she worked with.
On October 24, 1964, Judy married the love of her life, Hoye Daniels, at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a lifelong member.
Her greatest joy in life was for her family to come together to enjoy a dinner she had prepared, and before grace was spoken, she always thanked God for how blessed she was to have her family together.
Judy is survived by her three loving children; Kim (Don) Hoppert of Monroe, MI, Todd (Sheila) Daniels of South Rockwood, MI, Jennifer (David) McGregor of Newport, MI, eight dearly loved grandchildren; Todd (Chelvia) Hoppert, Katie (Steve) Bordine, Hunter, Connor, Landon McGregor, Kayla (Matt) Burchell, Shade and Madilynn Daniels, seven cherished great grandchildren; Mykennah, Sophia, Georgia Hoppert, Barrett Bordine, Tallen, Vayda, Daxton Burchell and a brother; Ed (Cheryl) Baltrip of Troy, Ohio.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church 8270 N. Dixie Hwy, Newport, MI 48166. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday at Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church. She will be in-state at the church at 10:00am. Her pastors, Rev. Larry Head and Rev. David McGregor will be officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in South Rockwood, MI.
The family is asking that Memorial donations be given to Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church.
