Julia E.
Dorchak
October 23, 1934 – July 2, 2019
Julia E. Dorchak, age 84, passed away July 2, 2019 in Dearborn, Michigan.
Beloved wife of Ronald for 64 wonderful years. Proud mother of Debbie (Frank) Darket, Ronald (Laure) Dorchak, Will (Rhonda) Dorchak, and Steve (Denise) Dorchak. Loving grandmother of Anne (Scott) Marihugh, Mark (Meghan) Darket, Ronald (Kelly) Dorchak, Tony (Ali) Dorchak, Zachary Dorchak, Will (Sarah) Dorchak, Nikki (Ryan) Neuland, Andy Dorchak, Cris (Shannon) Dorchak, Scott Dorchak, and Alyssa Dorchak. Caring great-grandmother of Ella, Zoe, Miles, Ronald, Thomas, Makayla, Charlotte, Alexandra, Kiptyn, Leightyn, and Reese.
Julia was a woman of many talents. She had developed a knack for gardening throughout her entire life. She grew veggies in her younger years but once the birds had left the nest and there were less hungry mouths to feed, her garden filled with flowers. She grew all types but had a special love for begonias. Julia's most impressive talent, however, was being a mother and grandmother. She knew every grandchild's favorite snack and always made sure to have them handy; no one ever left grandma's hungry! Julia was a kind and thoughtful woman who will be missed so greatly by so many.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7 from 3-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph. Funeral Monday, July 8 instate 9:30AM until time of mass at 10AM located at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 3965 Merrick St., Dearborn Heights.
