Julia
Szatanski
January 13, 1929 – October 25, 2020
Julia Szatanski died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 25 th , 2020 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Chester.
Loving mother of Rick (Pat), Connie (Joel) Cook, and Tim.
Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 11.
Dear sister of Jennie Ciecko.
Julia was most happy when she was in the garden tending to plants, shopping and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a great cook, especially when it came to soup. She could throw ingredients in a pot without a recipe and it always turned out delicious. She loved to crochet, go to the casino and buy lottery tickets. She also enjoyed feeding and bird watching.
Faith was very important to Julia, she was a long-time parishioner of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Taylor, Michigan.
Julia lived at Cedar Woods Assisted Living in Belleville for the last three years. She truly enjoyed participating in many activities while living at the facility and made a lot of great friends, especially Nas and Debbie, the Activities Coordinator. On the facebook page of Cedar Woods, you will find pictures of her.
