Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sharon Lynn Otten. Loving father of Dawn Otten-Sweeney (Lawrence), Craig Otten (Kelly) and Jeffrey Otten (Tina). Dearest grandfather of Jake Sweeney, Auldon Sweeney-Wydo (Cody), Kristina King, George Betz, Savannah Otten, Calum Otten, Lila Otten. Great grandfather of Benjamin King and Steele Wydo. Julius was preceded in death by his sister Elaine Wheaton (Terry), Elizabeth, who passed away days after her birth and his parents Julius and Evelyn. Dear uncle of Beckey Stuchen (Sean) and Scott Wheaton. Julius was a lifelong Michigan Man that supported his university spanning 65 years. Julius enjoyed golfing, bowling, dining, family vacations, tailgating at football games, and being the life of the party, he also volunteered in many capacities at his local church and was a generous philanthropist. He was a stock market afficionado. Julius was an audit partner with KPMG, president of MACPA and a mentor to many professionally. He has a sense of humor and wit that lasted through his final days.  He will be remembered as a true family man and certainly a man of God.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Historic Fort Street Presbyterian Church, 631 W. Fort Street, Detroit, Mi. 48226 on Saturday, April 26th, Church opens at 10:00am and Celebration starts at 11:00am.  Immediately following will be visitation with family & friends!
