Karen Brooks, left this world to be with our Lord on April 22, 2020.

She was born and raised in Dearborn and went on to have a successful career in New York City working for Smith Barney on Wall Street.

Karen  traveled the world, with great friends and family (and the latest crime novel and New York Times crossword firmly in hand).

She possessed the mind of a decorator, transforming her homes into stylish residences.

Retirement brought Karen back to Dearborn and her loving family, whom she doted on with steadfast devotion.

Karen will be missed by her loving sister, Patricia Brooks, niece Kelly Trudell (Scott), cousins Edward and Pauline Wohlford. She is preceded in death by her parents Irl and Lee Brooks, sister MaryLee Franklin, nephew Casey Franklin and brother-in-law Frank Fedorchak.

No visitation will be held at this time. A celebration of Karen's life will be schedule for later this year.
