Karen Gunderson-Preslar born June 20,1948 slipped peacefully away from us on September 5,2024, to join her parents Robert and Ruth Gunderson after battling illness for almost a year. She will be remembered by her loving husband Mike Preslar; sons Bob Gunderson and Mark & Lynn Gunderson; step children; Marcia Preslar, Michelle & Mike Wegner, Mike & Sarah Preslar. Grandchildren that she had a special relationship with, Jessica, Jordan, Ian and Brooke Gunderson, Lauren Kores and many more that held a special place in her heart.

Karen has spent most of her adult life either in Florida or around Inkster, which is where she last resided. Karen knew her time was coming to an end and chose to spend her time at home. Friends and family will remember her, at her best to be a lively, spirited woman who would often dance the night away at local community clubs/organizations she joined. She will also be remembered for her extensive cruise travels and trying to bring together large groups of loved ones.
