Kathleen McHugh, of Houghton Lake, formerly of Dearborn, passed away May 17, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Winfield, IL of a short term illness.

Beloved wife and best friend of Louis III, Loving mother of Louis IV and Teri (Garret) Francis. Proud grandmother of John, Liam and Elena. Dear sister of Thomas (Luz) and Patrick (Betty). She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and adopted grandchildren.
Kathleen was a life member of the DAV and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and  Women of the Moose Past Senior Regent. Kathleen was a gentle soul and will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, from 1-9 pm and Wednesday, May 30, from 12-9 pm at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, Dearborn Chapel. A Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, May 31, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church. Instate 10:30 am.
