With great sadness we announce that Kathleen (Kathie) Davis White passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on the afternoon of December 4, 2021.

Kathie was born on April 2, 1953 to the late Leon and Viola Boswell in the city of Wyandotte, graduating from Annapolis High School in Dearborn Heights.  A retired post office employee, Kathie enjoyed her time cycling and volunteering with TLC, a community that supports patients and their families through the transplant process.  An organization she joined after their wonderful support during her own kidney transplant in 2016.  She was also an ardent animal lover, who adored her dogs Benny and Fiona.

She is survived by her Donor daughter Erin Harris (Shaun), and her grandchildren Lexie, Lauren and Jamie Harris; Husband Terry White; Her stepchildren Chrissy (Chris) and Joe (Katie). And was Gramkathie to grandsons Ian and Gabriel.

The absence of Kathie will be felt in the lives by many. She was both a sister and aunt that loved her nieces and nephews as her own. She will be greatly missed by her BWWA friend group, as she was their most special friend.  Her friends and family will miss her great sense of humor and quick-witted comments, able to make anyone laugh no matter what the situation.

Viewing will be on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Howe Peterson Funeral Home in Dearborn (22546 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 481240 from 2:00-8:00pm.  The Funeral will take place at 11:00am on Friday December 10, 2021 with a viewing before and luncheon to follow.
