DEHAR, Kathy (Kefalas) April 8, 1951 – April 13, 2017.

Beloved wife of 28 years of Gregory Dehar.

Loving mother of Jason and his fiancée, Kristin.

Proud grandmother of Dylan.

Cherished daughter of Dorothy and the late Stephen.

Dear sister of Nicki (Gareth) and the late Cheryl.

Also survived by her in-laws, Diana and David, brother-in-law, Michael, nephews, Stephen and Devin, niece Gentry and her dog, Chili.

Kathy also leaves behind many other loving friends and family who will deeply miss her.

Kathy was a great cook and conversationalist who loved music, dancing and celebrating with friends and family. She had an affinity for gorillas and other animals.

The memorial gathering will take place on Monday, May 1st, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the World Wildlife Fund, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Greenpeace, or the University of Michigan Department of Neurology.
