Kenneth J. Pate passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 60. He was born and raised in Lincoln Park, Michigan, where he resided at the time of his death.

Ken was a hard worker and worked harder than most. He was employed at the same manufacturing plant for almost 24 years. Ken had a heart of gold and always took care of those he loved. He was happiest when he was working on his home or in his yard. He could build anything and worked hard to make everything beautiful. Ken also had a great passion for music, which he shared with his daughter Danielle. They spent countless hours together talking about music, listening to music and going to concerts.

Ken was survived by his wife Michele, his beloved daughter Danielle, his sister and brother-in-law Joyce and John Qualls, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ken was preceded in death by his grandmother Elsie Palmer, his father James Pate, his mother Kay Pate, and his brother Jeff Pate. He was also preceded in death by very close friends Greg Armstrong, Frank Karpinski and Patrick Condon.

Ken was one of a kind. He touched the lives of many. He was loving and kind and would do anything to help anyone. Ken filled our lives with laughter and love. He was a true blessing and the world will not be the same without him in it.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by J.L. Peters Funeral Home at 3880 Fort Street, Lincoln Park, MI. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 1pm until 8 pm, and Sunday, June 14, 2020, from 11am until 12pm. The funeral will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 12 pm.
