Obituary

Ken Rehse, beloved husband of Ilene Rehse went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 9, 2017. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Rehse and niece, June Buckholtz (Joel) as well as sisters-in-law, Carol, Barbara, Cynthia, Roberta along with numerous nieces, nephews, and their children. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Winnie.

He served honorably in the navy as a radar operator aboard naval destroyers and retired from many years of service as a telecommunications technician in the metro Detroit area. Ken volunteered as a sound board engineer at his church and was active as an amateur radio operator in the ARRL. He was also a member of the American Legion. He will be remembered as a quiet, loving person who loved his Lord, enjoyed ham radio and computer technology and was a product of Christian education both in the home and in the school.

Funeral service to be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 5:00pm at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and Sunday 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Burial will be on Monday , September 18, 2017 at 12:30pm at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
