Kenneth L. Roche's Obituary
Kenneth Roche, age 93, reached the end of his trail on January 28th surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Deloris. Survived by dear sons Tom (Andrea) and Kenneth and devoted daughters Nancy and Susan (Allen) Owen. Loving brother of John. Cherished grandfather of Kendra and Michael. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Ken was a Ford Motor Company tool and die maker and UAW committee man. He was happily retired for 37 years. A proud progressive throughout his life he struggled for social and economic justice as well as workers' rights. His fighting spirit was buoyed by the public support for the Bernie Sanders Campaign. While quite opinionated and frank, Ken was also generous, loyal, and kind. "A human being so true, he lived like a king 'cause he knew the real pleasures in life, to be devoted to – and guide his family so we'd be unafraid and free". Private services were held.
