Kenneth R. Stevens, Sr. went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2020 at the age of 89. He was born on February 20, 1931 in Detroit, MI to Reginald and Margaret Stevens. Loving husband of Florence (Santilli) for 64 wonderful years. Loving father of Deborah (Michael) Remmel, Cheryl (the late Michael) Cook, and Ken Jr. (Dr. Rose) Stevens. Proud grandfather of Amanda (Robert) Norris, Jaclyn (Russell) Anderson, Zachary and Justin Cook, Joshua, Katelyn, and Nathan Stevens. Great-grandfather of Amelia Anderson. Dear brother of Darlene Wilson, the late Wilbert, the late Glen, the late Jimmie, and the late Vicki Rohlman.  Cherished step-son of the late Effie Norrow.

Ken attended Berkley Grade and Junior High Schools before graduating from the Henry Ford Trade and Apprentice Schools. Following graduation, he went on to earn his Associate's degree in Commerce from Henry Ford Community College. From there, he found work at the Ford Motor Company as an automotive designer from 1949-1951.

In 1951, Ken answered his call to serve his country and enlisted in the U.S. Navy until 1955 serving in the Philippines as a SeaBee and San Diego with the Submarine Fleet.

Upon discharge from the Navy, Ken returned to Michigan and continued work as a design engineer with Ford until his retirement in 1984.

A private family service will be held. A memorial service will be announced for a later date.

Interment at United Memorial Gardens, Plymouth, MI.
