WURSTER , Kenneth of Taylor

Kenneth H. Wurster passed away on May 7, 2020 at the age of 75.

Beloved Husband of Marilyn, of 54 years. They were married at St. Mary's of Redford, on June 18, 1966.

Dear Father of Dawn (Brian) Snyder, Lisa French and the late Kenny.

Loving Grandfather of Allison, Ryan, Connor and Ruby.

Dearest Brother of Richard (Renee), Suzanne, Douglas (Cynthia), Roger and the late James (Jean).

Also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.

Ken loved camping and golfing. Ken was devoted to his church. Ken was the coordinator and taught RCIA at St. Constance Church.

Ken was born on December 31, 1944 in Burbank, CA to Harold and June Wurster.  Ken later grew up in Livonia and the Detroit area, then settled in Taylor.  He graduated High School in 1963 from St. Theresa's, in Detroit. He was a Local Union #58 Electrical Worker, retiring after 40 years of service.

The family suggest memorial donations may be made in Ken's honor, at St. Constance's St. Vincent De Paul Society, at 21555 Kinyon, Taylor, MI 48180.

In respect to the executive order issued by the governor, the gathering for Wurster Family will be limited to 10 people in our gathering space at one time.  Please be patient if you are requested to wait before greeting the family.  The funeral service will also be limited to 10 people in our chapel. If you will not be in attendance please be sure to sign the guest book and leave an online condolence to comfort the family.  Also, at this time we have discontinued food and beverages from being served in our chapels.  The Howe-Peterson staff practice social distancing, we respectfully encourage our guests to do the same.
