It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristina Kathleen (Neely) McTurner, a deeply cherished daughter, mother, wife, and friend. Kristina left this world on May 25, 2026, at the age of 43. Born on October 28, 1982, in Dearborn, Michigan, she was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Kristina was the beloved daughter of Wilda Kathleen Coyle and the late Leonard Bob Neely. Her father's memory lived on through her, as she carried forward his compassion and strength. She is survived by her devoted mother, Wilda, who was her lifelong confidante and friend. Kristina shared many years of love and memories with her husband, Brandon McTurner, whom she married on June 27, 2009. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, raising two wonderful children, Ashlyn Kathleen McTurner and Bentley Travis McTurner, who were the light of her life.
Kristina's journey in education began at John F. Kennedy High School, where she graduated in 2001. With a heart dedicated to caring for others, she pursued nursing at Henry Ford Community College, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. The Fourth of July was her favorite holiday, a day she spent creating beautiful memories filled with laughter, fireworks, and family gatherings. Her infectious laugh was a melody that resonated with everyone she met, and her warm smile and comforting hugs made anyone in her presence feel seen and valued.
Kristina's kindness and generosity were unmatched. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need, embodying a spirit of selflessness that touched countless lives. Her legacy is one of love, compassion, and enduring strength.
