Lana Elaine Kolasinski (née Adams), of Detroit, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2021 at the age of 63.

Lana was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 8, 1958 to the late James L., and Sylvia (Workman) Adams. She is also preceded by her husband Eddie, infant son baby Wally, brother Marvin O. Adams Sr., her sisters Marcella Adams, and Patricia Randall.

Left to cherish her memories are her Children: Tracie (Leonard) Morawa, Amy (Daniel Valdez) Kolasinski, Joseph (Shavon) Grimm, Jennifer (Chris Perez) Kolasinski, Nicole (Ryan) Mertz, Julie and Patty Galvan.

Left behind are her sisters Linda Davis (the late Charlie), Lisa (Herman) Kirk. Niece Shelly Adams, great nephew Steven Bryant, great- great niece Leeana and Aleena. Sister-in-law Karen Adams (the late Marvin), and brother-in-law Ted Randall (Patricia).

Lana had many grandchildren: Brealle, Marcel, Matthew, Sophia, Nyah, Leya, Joselle, Anthony, Julian, Natalya, Karla, and Karmina.

There are 3 generations of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly along with many loving cousins and friends.

Visitation on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd. Funeral service at 10:00AM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan.
