Loving husband of the late Shirley for 72 years.  Dearest Father of Larry E. ( the late Karen Ann).  Dear grandfather of Sharon Kinsey and great grandfather of Nathan.  Larry proudly served in the United States Army during WWII.  Larry retired from The Detroit Newspaper after 38 years of faithful service as a paper handler.  Larry enjoyed spending time down in Florida with his late wife, Shirley.  From visiting Disney, to relaxing at the pool in Miami, beautiful memories came from their travels down to the sunshine state.  In his earlier days,  Larry could be found dancing the night away with Shirley.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Michigan Humane Society.  Arrangements for cremation by the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
