Larry R. Rose passed away on June 7, 2024 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Barbara for 61 years. Loving father of Janet Robert (Chuck), and Glen Rose (Debbie). Cherished grandfather of Brandon Robert (Sarah), Chris Robert, Ashley Rose (Ethan), and Adam Rose. Dearest brother of Jerry Rose (Pennye), and Carol Rose (Joe).
Larry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He retired from Detroit Edison in 2001 after many years there. Larry was a proud veteran of The United States Army. He loved to watch hockey, and go bowling in his spare time. He also loved to fish. Larry was a member of the Masonic Lodge and donated a lot of his time as a Mason. He was also into Martial Arts and had his black belt. He will be deeply missed by his entire family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 1:00-8:00pm with a Masonic Service at 7:00pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00am. All services will be located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Larry will be interred at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI.
