Larry J. Vargo passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 2, 2023 at the age of 77. He is the devoted husband of Diana for 45 wonderful years. Dearest father of Vanessa, Phoenix, and Max. Loving brother of Ellen Leppelmeier and uncle of Sarah Lindquist.

Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years and the U.S. Navy for 21 years, from which he retired. He also retired from Northwest Airlines as a ground crewman after 40 years of service and continued working for the Detroit Metro Airport part time at Enterprise in his retirement years.

Larry loved to take long drives, spending quality time in the car with his family and his dogs.
