Entered into rest on September 13, 2024. Age 71. Beloved husband of Carol.  Larry was born in NW Detroit and grew up in the Roman Catholic Tradition at St. Mary's, Redford. He attended public elementary schools, one year at U of D and then St. Mary's High School in Redford. Larry was very interested in modern European history and participated in a German club while at Wayne State. He met Carol in 1981 at a wedding with mutual German club friends. They were married in 1983 and chose to continue their faith journey in the Lutheran tradition. Larry worked as a machinist at Visi-trol Engineering Company and in the Wayne State Physics Department. He retired in 2009 on a disability. Larry was a very serious model train builder. He and Carol enjoyed architecture and sharing books they have read. Larry's Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 21915 Beech St, Dearborn, MI 48124. Memorial gathering from 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
