Leonard Joseph Wieczorek passed away September 24th, 2018 at his home in Detroit, Michigan.

He joins his beloved wife of 27 years , Theresa, in eternal rest.
Proud father of Andrene (Tony) Wieczorek, and Julieanne (Ken) Daining.
Caring grandfather to Natalie Daining, and Zachary Daining.
Dear brother of Norman, John, and the late Raymond and Stanley.

Leonard was a man of many interests. He tended his garden and grew many different kinds of veggies and flowers, from tomatoes to roses. He was an avid sports fan of the Detroit teams. He enjoyed relaxing while watching vintage films and liked to try his luck with the lottery. Leonard served his country for 3 years in the Army, eventually going on to carry mail for the United States Postal Service for the rest of his working years. He was a devout Catholic and family man. He was charitable to all with a big heart, always being empathetic to anyone he met. Leonard will be missed by so many.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 13th at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Gathering begins at 9:30AM until time of services at 11:30AM. Leonard will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
