Leslie Anne (Wildauer) Donley came into this world on August 15, 1971 and was carried by Gods Angel's to heaven on January 27, 2019 to be reunited with her parents Lawrence and Myrna Wildauer. Leslie's 47 years on earth, though brief, were spent mostly tending to the needs of others. Selfless, caring, compassionate, loving, nurturing, uplifting....all words that very easily describe this precious person.  Everyone else's needs always took precedence over her own. She loved everyone and anyone she came into contact with quickly became a friend or family member to her. Her husband said it best...."everyone was a friend and she had no enemies". Leslie was a dedicated child caregiver/teacher  for over 25 years.  She and John were never blessed with biological children but she cared for hundreds of kids through the years that she loved as if they were her own. If your child had Miss Leslie as a teacher, they were truly loved and blessed. Much like her father, Leslie enjoyed fishing. On any given Sunday during spring and summer she could be found on a lake or  on the Detroit River relaxing with her pole and tackle box.  Leslie had a great love and a huge heart for dogs which led her to nurture Gizmo, Candy, Presley, Pongo, Gracelynn and most recently Bell. She was just as loving to her pet children as any mother is with their biological ones. Leslie is survived by her husband of 24 years and love of her life, John. She will be  ever so deeply missed by her brothers and sisters: Lisa Wildauer, Lori Smith, Mark (Gina) Wildauer, Matthew Wildauer and  Linda (George) Bryant. Leslie was a loving Auntie to Patrick Smith, Joshua and Jessica Wildauer and Abigail Bryant.   Her parents, Lawrence and Myrna Wildauer pre-deceased her. She is also survived by her in laws Billy and Dorothy Donley. Funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave.  Visitation Friday 1-9 p.m. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes.
