Linda Kay Bailey, age 78, of Taylor, MI, passed away July 20, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Gordon William Bailey for 60 wonderful years.

Proud mother of Sherry (Mitchell) Hogan, Michael (Michelle) Bailey, and Christie Ireland.

Caring grandmother of Justin Bailey, Nicholas La Clair, Amanda (JC) Wilhelm, Kayla (Eric) Makinen, and Chad Hogan.

Loving great-grandmother of Adalynn La Clair, Rose Wilhelm, and Lincoln Makinen.

Dear sister of Lowell (Peggy) Goforth, and the late Larry Goforth).

Preceded in death by parents John and Verla Goforth.

Linda lived a beautifully simple and fulfilling life. She enjoyed most spending time with her family, sitting in her rocking chair on the front porch, using her green thumb in her garden, and serving the lord.

Linda, with her husband, Bill, were active members of Beacon Baptist Church for 55 years. She worked at the church, sang in the choir, and was a superintendent over the junior class for many years.

Linda was loved by all. Whether it be the workers at the local grocery store or friends she has known her whole life; she touched everyone with kindness and love.

Her lessons of treating everyone like family will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly.

Visitation Sunday, July 24 from 1-8PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Funeral Monday, July 25, instate 10AM until time of service at 11AM at Beacon Baptist Church, 21721 Northline Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, meet at cemetery at 3:30PM.
