Linda Marie Bartnik, age 62, of Detroit, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital Hospice Center in Royal Oak, after battling an infection in her blood system.

Linda was born April 27, 1954.

She was the beloved daughter of Valentine A. and the late Edward Z. Bartnik.

Dearest sister of Terri (Jerry) Wale of Waterford.

Linda was the super-proud aunt of Amber (Mike) Tjaden of Nampa, Idaho and Kevin (Kandace Conley) Wiles of Brighton, MI.

Amber & Mike have 2 daughters, Kyah Brynn and Deklynn Grace, who made Linda a happy great-aunt.

Linda worked at the IRS office in Detroit, MI for 33 years and happily retired in 2009.

She has many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will always cherish the memories Linda created for all of us.

Visitation will be at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave., Dearborn, MI 48124 on Monday, September 26th from 2 PM to 7 PM.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 27th at 11 AM, in state at 10:30 AM, at St. Hedwig Church, 3245 Junction Ave., Detroit, MI 48210.

Interment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery of Dearborn Heights.
