Linda Laforet (Osborn) , age 68, of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on May 22, 2023.  Proceeded in death by the love of her life, Allan David Laforet Sr, her parents William and Nannie Osborn and her son, Allan Laforet Jr. Linda is survived by her daughters, Tracy Neer and Kim (Frank) Rex, 6 grandchildren, Jordan (Katie) Laforet, Haylee (Diego) Rex, Austin Laforet, Kyla Rex, Frankie Rex and Hope Neer, 5 great-grandchildren, her brother and sister and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Linda was an amazing wife, mother,  grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is the type of person who would do anything for anyone and became an instant friend to those she met along her journey.

Linda met her husband very young. They began dating at 12, married at 18 and started a family 11 months later. Al passed away just after their 30-year anniversary.  We are at peace knowing they are together again.

Linda was a manager for the Ford Motor Company food service. She worked many events at the test track and even planned an event for race car driver Jackie Stewart. She was amazing in her role and met many amazing people along the way.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, 12pm-8pm and the funeral service will be at 11am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023  at J.L. Peters Funeral Home in Lincoln Park.   Please sign the register book and share a memory.
