Lisa Knox, 50, passed away with her son and sister by her side on July 1, 2019 after a difficult battle with cancer. She was incredibly strong and positive throughout the entire fight.

She is survived by her loving son, Nikolas Ochoa; her mom, Gwendolyn; her sister, Vicki Schultz; brother-in-law, Jeff Schultz; brother Rick (Anna) Knox; and extended family on both sides. Lisa will be dearly missed by her Fantastic Sam's family: Denise "Duckie" Grigsby – the peas half of peas and carrots – and her husband, Brian Grigsby; Jamie (Bill) Gardella and family as well as the rest of the crew.

Lisa was preceded in death by her dad, Donald Knox, and grandparents: Thomas and Lillian O'Connor and Russell and Edna Knox.

Lisa has been a hairstylist for 28 years, which is how she met many of her closest friends. She found her true connection with hair and friends when she worked at Fantastic Sam's.

She was passionate about crafts, which began with jewelry making and ended with a wreath making passion which was inspired by Mom Sue.

Throughout Lisa's journey in life she was most proud of her accomplishment of 12 years of sobriety.

She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
