Lisa Marie Wozniak (Hastie) of Dearborn was brought into this world on September 8, 1964 at Oakwood hospital. She departed this world to be with Jesus from the same hospital she was born, on April 17, 2026 at the age of 61. She was loved by many and was surrounded by her family at her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elton “Butch” and Joan Hastie. She is survived by her husband Tom Wozniak; her sons, Kevin (Jennifer), and Keith (Stephanie); her 5 grandchildren, Luke, Lillian, Lucille, Leah, and Cruz; her siblings, Ron, Rick, and Laurie; and her many nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
Those that knew Lisa know the tremendous love she had for her family and friends. Her unconditional love radiated from her. She was also a warrior, one that would not let cancer take her without a fight. She battled with a smile on her face and love in her heart. She attended countless sporting events, school events, and family events with joy. She was a rock for many, and to say she will be missed is an understatement.Lisa and Tom were married for over 38 years but were together for around 45 years. As Tom says, Lisa was the best he could ever ask for. They enjoyed raising their boys and watching them grow their own families. They enjoyed traveling and visiting friends. They especially enjoyed spending time at their cabin.
Lisa was also a wonderful grandma and loved spending quality time with her grandchildren. They absolutely adored her and love her dearly. Lisa was also a very dear friend to many and her absence on this earth will be felt by those special people.
Sadness in Lisa’s passing is a tribute to the weight that her presence carried wherever she went. But Lisa always wanted her people to be happy. Her love, strength, and perseverance have set an example of how to live. Although her life was not the longest, it was filled with the most love, and that we will celebrate.
